The Global Orphan Fund, locally known as GO Fund, is a Christian Ministry dedicated to educating and supporting underprivileged children and families throughout Nicaragua.  Doug and Julie Effinger are the primary in country representatives based in Jinotepe.   Projects sponsored by the GO Fund include two student housing facilities for young men and women, in addition to a feeding program which reaches hundreds of hungry children throughout the neighboring community.   The GO Fund is also currently in the process of raising money to construct a completely sustainable bed & breakfast type housing facilities which will support a student library and study center in Jinoptepe.  The facility is currently under construction.  Click here learn more about the progress of the youth center in Jinotepe and Doug & Julie Effinger’s ministry.
